Pancake day is Christian festivity in the British culture, and it is celebrated on Tuesday before Ash Wednesday, and it is also called Shrove Tuesday. The tradition started in the 16th century.

Shrove Tuesday or Pancake Day is the last day before Lent, which during this period you are not allowed to eat fats and those delicious ingredients that pancakes are made, such as eggs, butter, golden syrup and even caster sugar. Pancakes are eaten mainly in the afternoon, evening or for supper.
