I will have to break the ice.
I love reading, I love doing it next to water (beach preferably or swimmingpool)I also enjoy waking up early to enjoy a good story. Books have been there for me in tough moments, to ease the pain and get me distracted with a good plot. They make waiting more pleasurable.... And, definitely, they have been excellent help to learn, revise and keep second languages.
A Favourite book? A Hundred years of solitude by Gabriel G Márquez or The Brookling Follies by Paul Auster.

Now that the ice is torn into pieces I can also comment :P

I too enjoy books a lot, not that I have time for them nowadays, but during the holidays I read as much as I can and all through the year I do like the little ant, I gather so I can enjoy my leisure time... reading, of course!
A favourite book is hard, really, maybe "The little prince" or "Sense and Sensibility" by Jane Austen. But if I had to choose one british author (a part from Jane) it would have to be Nick Hornby. Has anyone read anything by him? He's amazing!

I must confess I'm addicted to books. I love reading and I have to be grateful to my parents, because at home I have always seen them reading. At the moment I'm reading "A shop in Paris" by Maxim Huerta. However, if I have to choose only one book it would be very difficult; but I love all the Manolito Gafotas' serie. I love him!!! I think I have grown up with him...in fact, in the last one he doesn't want to be called Manolito, he is now Manolo. :)

I encourage you to read!!!! It one of the biggest pleasures in the world!

Hi girls!
I remember reading the Brooklyn Follies (by Paul Auster) years ago, when I was learning English in the EOI. I really enjoyed it and even read it a few times in a row!
I love reading and I wish I had time to do it more... for now, I keep buying more books than I can read hoping that I'll find the time to read them one day ;)
