I have to admit that I use several of this tools like read books (twilight, divergent) watch tv series (friends, the big bang theory) and I'm used to listen their accent, when I saw it in Spanish it is bizarre. Another thing I learn a lot when I listen to music. It is a good way to relax and learn indeed.

Thank you CrisN, it is true that it can be hard at the beginning, but once we tune in, it is much better and we cannot stand their dubbed voices.

Hi, teacher.
I'm comeback in this blog, again. Also known as "Fernando",you know.
I think that every single thing that helps me to learn English is good. It depends on the mood of the day.
Sometimes I listen to English songs, with subtitle of course!
I recommend the old TV sitcom "Mind your languages" on youtube, if you want to spend a entertaining time.Funny, funny, funny!

Thanks for your comment. Let me tell the followers of this blog that you are an example of perseverance, that even when our timetables don't allow us to be part of the school of languages, we still can keep on working in order to improve.

I think the first film that I tried to watch in English was
´Pride and Prejudice´...definitely It was a real failure, It was a bad choice, I couldn´t understand anything!

well, the important thing is perseverance, always keep trying.
You can always try with films, series, books you already know, or even combine it with new things to push your hearing and understanding abilities.

Another posibility is to change the lenguage of your TV. I usually watch some film or TV programmes. As well, you can put the subtitles in English.
